This is a pretty interesting report from the National Center for Science Education and I’ll admit I don’t know a great deal about geology. I do know a couple of things however, such as the bible is full of shit. So anyone who tells me the earth is 6000 years old because that’s what the bible says is basically as full of shit as the bible itself.

When nearly every scientist on earth tells us that our wonderful little planet is roughly 4.6 billion years old and the only ones saying it isn’t are people who get their information from the bible, I’ll proudly pronounce the age of earth as roughly 4.6 billion years and the other guys as being full of shit.
